Bloemfontein - Universitas and National Hospital in Bloemfontein are short staffed. This, according to DA Shadow Minister of Health, Patricia Kopane, who paid these two hospitals a visit this morning.
She also found that Universitas has only one working lift - this for a ten storey building with hundreds of patients and staff members.
Kopane says her oversight visit forms part of her party's continued assessment of the state of health facilities. Kopane says the National Hospital building is falling apart.
