Bloemfontein - Upington police say they’re still to arrest anyone in connection with the past weekend’s discovery of a woman’s body at the town’s sports grounds.
Northern Cape police spokesperson, Donald Mdhluli says a passer-by came across the body of the 49-year old woman on Saturday morning.
He says indications are that the victim was raped before being killed.
Mdhluli says the deceased sustained numerous stab wounds.
He says anyone with information may call the Upington police station or the investigating officer, Detective Constable Maasdorp on 082-558-8027
