Bloemfontein - The police officer who stands accused of assaulting two brothers at a filling station shop in Bloemfontein, appeared briefly in the city's Magistrate's Court today.

The case against Christoffel Neuhoff was remanded to November 12 for representation and instruction from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Neuhoff, a member of the Boipatong Crime Prevention Unit in Gauteng, stands accused of assaulting Neil and Eben Sonnekus at a fast food restaurant in Langenhoven Park in March this year.
