Bloemfontein - Allegations that the construction of a restaurant at Bloemfontein’s Naval Hill is behind schedule have been dismissed.
Mangaung Metro's executive director of planning and economic development, Kaba Kabagambe says the 150 seater restaurant is due to officially open later this year.
Meanwhile, the noteworthy Draairestaurant, or Rotating Restaurant, is expected to re-open in October this year.

The restaurant will keep its old appearance, and its construction is currently 60 percent completed.
