Bloemfontein - Free State Health MEC Benny Malakoane held a seminar in Bloemfontein yesterday in a bid to restore the community’s faith in the province's health service delivery.
The 2014 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Seminar was held at Bophelo House on Tuesday.
Free State EMS Manager Reuben Ruiters, College of Emergency Care principal Kevin Rowe-Rowe and the acting head of corporate services Bakang Oliphant were among those present at the seminar.
Malakoane says the seminar was a turnaround strategy for improved emergency medical services.
Malakoane said the department holds the community in high respect, saying they are the reason they serve in their various capacities, emphasising that they will do everything possible to ensure everyone gets prompt medical assistance in the case of emergencies.
