Bloemfontein - Two foreign nationals were arrested for operating an illegal abortion clinic in the Bloemfontein CBD.
Free State police spokesperson, Sinah Mpakane, says the arrests on Tuesday came after police received a tip-off.
She says one of the illegal clinics was operating inside a hair salon. Tablets used for the illegal abortions were confiscated.
Two men, aged 28 and 23, are expected to appear in court soon on charges relating to the Abortion and Sterilization Act.
