Klerksdorp - Ten would-be bank robbers is scheduled to appear in the Klerksdorp Magistrate’s court today.
They were arrested during a foiled bank robbery at one of the local banks in Klerksdorp in September last year.
Their arrests followed a tip-off about the planned bank robbery.
Four suspects were arrested inside the bank and eight others were arrested inside the suspected stolen getaway cars in the parking area.
The police managed to recover two AK 47 rifles and three magazines including handguns that each of the suspects were armed with. No cash was robbed during the incident.
