Murdered Bainsvlei teenager to be cremated on Saturday─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 12:15 Thu, 09 Apr 2015
Bloemfontein - A cremation service for Noeline Koekemoer, who was murdered on a smallholding in Bainsvlei near Bloemfontein on Tuesday, will be held on Saturday.
The 16-year old's body was discovered by her mother, Natasha, in a pool of blood in her room.
Dennis Casten, a friend of Natasha, says the woman is inconsolable and extremely emotional.
She however prefers not to receive trauma counselling as she wants to face the reality of her daughter's death.
Casten says there are no words to describe what a blessing Noeline was, adding that her death is a great loss.
Casten declined to reveal any information about the police investigation, saying there is a lot of speculation at this stage.
He however says they are satisfied with the investigation and the police’s thoroughness and feedback.
The cremation service will be held at the Old Apostolic Church in Bloemfontein at 10:30 for 11:00.
