Shanduka Trust to host "Back to School" campaign in Bloemfontein─── THANDI XABA 09:33 Sun, 21 Jun 2015
Bloemfontein - Over 200 000 school children are currently benefiting from programmes launched by Kagiso Shanduka Trust (KST) along with Free State Department of Education.
Provincial MEC of Education Tate Makgoe says the department will host a “Back to School” fundraising event at Emoya Estate Bloemfontein, to further promote the programme.
In March 2013, KST signed an agreement with the Free State Department of Education to work together with 428 schools in the Fezile Dabi and Motheo Districts.
The chairperson of the Shanduka Foundation, deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa, KST chairperson Frank Chikane, and Makgoe are inviting people in the province to participate in building the programme. The event will be held on July 2nd.
