Vanderbijlpark - A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed this morning after an apparent hit-and-run on the R57 in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by SAPS. On arrival, paramedics found the lifeless body of the man lying in the middle of the one lane.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained fatal injuries to his head and showed no signs of life.
He was declared dead on the scene.
The driver of the light motor vehicle was not found on the scene. Local authorities are investigating.
