Man killed after losing control of car, crashing into pillar in Vereeniging─── 05:28 Mon, 25 Jul 2016
Vereeniging - A man believed to be in his 50s died after losing control of his car and crashing into a bridge pillar on the R59 in Vereeniging in Gauteng on Sunday evening, paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the accident and found the man still in the car, which was on the side of the road, ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, said.
"He sustained multiple severe injuries. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him." The cause of the accident was unknown, Bodasing said.
