Dimpho Molise told the court she received a phone call between 18:00 and 19:00 on 20 October 2015. She was informed that her sister, Tshidi Molise, was shot. 

She told Frederiksen's lawyer, Marius Bruwer, that she was with her sister during the last moments of her life. "She was in pain, remember, she only told me that the person who fired the shots at her was the same person who earlier warned her to get away." Dimpho says no names were given. Tshidi did, however, see who it was.

She further told the court that her sister died in the theater the day after she was shot, an hour after Dimpho left the hospital. 

Dimpho also testified about the stormy relationship her sister shared with the accused.  

She revealed that ever since Frederiksen and her sister met in 2010, there were fights from time to time. She says that Tshidi at some point indicated to her that she wanted to file for divorce. Dimpho says at first her sister loved Frederiksen but the love later faded. She told advocate Amanda Bester that her sister didn't use cocaine and was also not involved in witchcraft.
