Brits - North West police are still searching for two suspects who were allegedly involved in a bank robbery at Brits earlier this week.
Spokesperson Adel Myburgh explains three suspects entered the bank on Wednesday and robbed clients.
She says police managed to apprehend a 25-year-old man with an undisclosed amount of money and a toy gun.
The other two armed suspects fled the scene.
“The suspect appeared before the Brits Magistrate's Court yesterday for armed robbery and will remain in custody until the 24th of November to apply for formal bail application. The other two suspects fled the scene, and we are hoping police will catch them soon,” says Myburgh.
Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
