Welkom - The man who is alleged to have killed a mother and her two children in Dagbreek in Welkom has been arrested. Police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng says the 36-year- old man was apprehended in Colesburg late on Tuesday night. He has been on the run since the horrific murder, which was discovered on Monday night. According to Thakeng, the bodies of 46-year-old Anna Velthuizen and her two children, the eight-year-old Dominique and 10-year-old Marthinus were found dead in the house in Haarlem Street. The suspect is expected to appear in court today.
