Botshabelo - A teenager was hacked to death in the early hours yesterday morning in the on-going gang violence in Botshabelo outside Bloemfontein.
Free State police spokesperson, Tseko Mokgahle, says 18-year-old Zacharia Molale died while trying to flee the attack in which his mother and sister were also hacked.
Both survived.
Mokgahle says the attack was in retaliation to a fight between the BTK, or Born To Kill, and SVK gangs the previous day.
Mokgahle could not confirm which gang the deceased belonged to and says no arrests have yet been made.
