Bloemfontein - The agricultural group Suidwes Landbou has announced a new Chairperson after Leeudoringstad farmer Hansie Viljoen was recently elected to the position.
The company said in a statement Viljoen takes up the reins from Pierre Vercueil of Stella, who is stepping down after twenty years on the board of Suidwes Landbou.
Viljoen is also an execuitve member of Grain SA, representing district three.
Viljoen was elected during the company’s annual general meeting last week. Frans Marx from the Wolmaranstad area was elected as deputy chairperson.
