EFF intensifies efforts to remove Ramaphosa from office─── 06:49 Sun, 21 Aug 2022
In the wake of the Phala Phala farm scandal, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have announced they will step up their efforts to have President Cyril Ramaphosa removed from office.
The party's Central Command Team has convened this weekend in Ekurhuleni.
According to the EFF, the president needs to answer for his involvement in the incident, and for failing to notify the suspected heist at the property to the authorities.

The party has been outspoken in demanding that Ramaphosa must resign.
The EFF joined forces with other opposition parties with representatives in parliament last week in an effort to have the president removed from office through a vote of no confidence.
EFF Deputy President, Floyd Shivambu says, “the removal of Cyril Ramaphosa as the president of the Republic of South Africa, we are going to intensify that campaign in parliament. The processes that have been engaged in with all political parties in parliament, and engagements on his removal will end up on the removal of Ramaphosa of the Republic of South Africa because he has violated his oath of office, he has violated the constitution, and he has violated so many laws.”
