The Nedbank Cup champions, Free State Stars, will travel to Johannesburg for their opening game, where they will be up against Wits on Saturday, 4 August.

Steve Komphela’s Bloemfontein Celtic will be at home for their first match on 5 August, when they come up against Chippa United at the Free State Stadium.

The very first match of the season will, however, be at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, when the defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, entertain the Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs.

This match on 4 August will kick-off at 15:00.
