Bloemfontein - Buckingham Palace in London is set to host its first official football match.
The match at the Royal residence will form part of the 150-year anniversary celebrations of the Football Association.
Tony Stones, who is the grounds-keeper at the iconic Wembley Stadium with work alongside royal gardeners to create a football pitch on the palace's 40-acre grounds.
The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William who is also the President of the FA, with the blessing of the Queen helped arrange the match which will feature two of England’s oldest amateur clubs – Civil Service FC and Polytechnic FC on October 7th.
William will host the event and present 150 volunteers with special medals following the proceedings.
