In our Friday insert only on Before Dawn, OFM News’ Christal-Lize Muller speaks to the editor of Farmer's Weekly, Denine Erasmus, about what to expect in their latest edition…
Erasmus highlights the news stories in the 5 July issue of Farmer’s Weekly which includes a story about some great concern regarding escalating crime in rural parts of North West. The CEO of Agri North West, Boeta du Toit, says this includes among others stock theft, illegal grazing and unlawful occupation of land. She also shares a story about optimism regarding a state subsidised crop insurance scheme for South African farmers.
The industry is now waiting for National Treasury to confirm among others the amount as well as the budget should the plan be excepted.
