#Estina beneficiaries wants FS dairy project shut down─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 05:00 Fri, 26 Jul 2019
The Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture this week heard the Vrede Dairy Farm Project must be shut down as it is clear that the project was used for the benefit of thieves.
Beneficiaries of the project say nothing of substance is coming from it. A farmer and one of the beneficiaries of the project, Ephraim Dhlamini, testified before the commission - through the use of a translator - that there is no point in the project continuing.
Dhlamini has told the commission people in Vrede fear to mention the name of the former MEC of Agriculture in the Free Sate, Mosebenzi Zwane, because they may be killed. He made serious allegations that Zwane has a spy in the department who gives him information about them.
