Woman drowns in Camps Bay area─── 06:33 Mon, 28 Dec 2015
Cape Town - A 54-year-old woman drowned on Sunday afternoon in the Camps Bay area in Cape Town, emergency services ER24 said.
ER24 said paramedics were called to the scene after sea rescue services pulled the woman from the water and returned her to the shore.
Paramedics administered emergency medical treatment on the beach. The patient was then taken to New Somerset Hospital for urgent care but died en route. She was declared dead on arrival.
ER24 added that investigations were continuing at the scene.
