Bloemfontein - A project by the Free State premier's office to get destitute white people to register for RDP housing has started in Bloemfontein.
Project spokesperson, Sandlana Smit, says many white people in the Free State have indicated that they need housing and would benefit from the government's housing programme.
Smit said a truck of the housing department will be stationed at the old Bloemfontein City Hall today and tomorrow where people can register for RDP houses. He said the truck will be open for registrations from 9am to 4pm on these two days.
Smit says the truck will visit places such as Welkom, Virginia and Odendaalsrus next week.
