Bloemfontein - The 4 x 100m South Africa men’s relay team won gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
The team that comprised of Roland Schoeman, Lyndon Ferns, Darian Townsend and Ryk Neethling clocked a new world record of 3 minutes and 13.17 seconds at the time, ahead of the Netherlands and USA respectively.
