The South African Weather Service is warning of more disruptive rain in the east of the country.
The weather agency says winds are expected to pick up on Sunday, and structural damage to houses and roads is possible.
It says the tropical pressure is currently situated in the Mozambique Channel and is expected to move south-west over southern Mozambique, to Limpopo, Mpumalanga and north-eastern KwaZulu-Natal.
Last month tropical storm Eloise brought heavy rains and strong winds to South Africa.
The Kruger National Park was forced to close the Crocodile Bridge Gate due to the river overflowing.
