Ficksburg woman's murder suspects released─── JOSCA HUMAN 16:01 Wed, 06 Sep 2017
The seven men who were suspected of murdering a young woman outside her house in Ficksburg have been released.
This comes after a woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds in her yard on Sunday. The police received a tip-off from the community about seven men in the area with blood stains on their clothes, and they were arrested immediately.
Police spokesperson, Phumelelo Dhlamini, says according to investigative officers the men were not linked to the crime and have been released. It is, however, still unclear why there were blood stains on their clothes.
“They could not be connected with the crime and they were released last night,” says Dhlamini.
The investigation into the matter continues.
