Viljoenskroon - The SA Human Rights Commission is expected to visit Rammulotsi township outside Viljoenskroon in the Free State today to inspect progress made in enclosing toilets there. Commission spokesperson Isaac Mangena says the visit follows an invite by the Moqhaka municipality:
The Human Rights Commission first launched an investigation into the issue following complaints received in 2010 about unenclosed toilets. The Commission recommended that the open toilets be closed and that sanitation be provided to residents of Rammulotsi as soon as possible. Today’s visit is scheduled to take place from 10am.
