As the final round of Premier Soccer League matches approach, the relegation bound Platinum Stars are targeting a strong finish to their 2017/18 league campaign when they face Wits next Saturday.
After 29 matches in the PSL, Dikwena have only managed 4 wins with 9 draws and 16 losses for a total of 21 points on the table firmly placing them in the 16th and last place on the log.
Stars trail the 15th placed Ajax Cape Town with 10 points putting all hopes of avoiding relegation to bed as early as the beginning of last month.
Despite the imminent relegation to the National First Division Stars will have one last chance to give their home crowd faithful reason to celebrate this season when they take to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium next Saturday.
