The event is being presented under the theme “Access to markets”. Tsholo Mokobe, managing director of event host Atone Works, says the aim is to expose especially emerging commercial African farmers to relevant markets.
He says the private sector is doing a fantastic job in guiding farmers in how to get there products to the shelves but there is a need for government to open more markets:
Mokobe says the workshop is presented free of charge and is open to any existing or aspiring farmers. The event takes place at the Bloemfontein showgrounds on September18 and 19.
